The 16th century RED LION INN is full of charm and character with ancient beams and a huge open inglenook fireplace. Several interconnecting rooms provide a choice of dining areas, all of which have linen draped tables.

We serve a selection of bar snacks in the bar area and full lunches and dinner in the restaurant. Please see our menus pages for further details.

If you are planning a dinner party with friends and family, we can cater for small to medium sized gatherings  in our garden restaurant.
Visit us in the summer and, weather permitting, you can dine on our terrace and enjoy the fine views overlooking the Kennet valley.

Perfect for after dinner coffees, or a quiet tete a tete, the Snug area has squashy sofas and is an ideal place to relax with views of our cottage garden. In winter warm up in front of the roaring fire in the inglenook.

Enjoy a drink at the bar where we stock an extensive array of drinks, or dine at a table in the bar area. We now have the local Ramsbury Brewery Gold beer and the exclusive-to-us Axford Ale. Peroni is on draught and we have an extensive winelist and various wine promotions which run throughout the year.
